                                                               GLUCOSEMETER


BASICS:-
          GULCOSEMETER IS THE SMALLEST EMBEDDED BASED DEVICE WHICH IS MOSTLY USED IN MEDICAL FIELD.WITH THE USE OF THIS DEVICE WE CAN CHECK  GULCOSE,GROUP OF BLOOD,PULSES OF VEINS,TEMPERATURE.
BLOCK USED:-
1]TEST STRIP:-THIS IS THE SMALL STRIP ON WHICH WE HAVE TO GIVE SAMPLE OF BLOOD,KEEP THE FINGER.
2]SENSOR:-SENSOR CAN BE OPTICAL OR ELECTROCHEMICAL.WHEN WE HAVE TO CHECK BLOOD GROUP,GLUCOSE THEN SENSOR CAN BE ELETROCHEMICAL.WHEN WE HAVE TO CHECK PULSES OF VEINS THEN THE SENSOR WILL BE OPTICAL.
3]AMPLIFIER:-THIS CIRCUIT IS USED TO AMPLIFY THE PULSES.

4]PGA:-The Inverting Programmable Gain Amplifier (PGA_Inv) component implements an opamp-based inverting amplifier with user-programmable gain. It is derived from the SC/CT block.

ThE  PGA implements an opamp-based, non-inverting amplifier with user-programmable gain. This amplifier has high input impedance, wide bandwidth, and selectable input voltage reference. It is derived from the SC/CT block.

5]ADC:- IT CONVERTS  THE ANALOG SIGNAL TO DIGITAL FOR THE MCU TO PROCESS.
6]DAC:-IT CONVERTS THE DIGITAL SIGNAL FROM THE MCU TO ANALOG FOR THE SENSOR TO DETECT THAT TOTAL CYCLE GETS COMPLETED.
7]MCU:-IT IS A MICRO CONTROLLER UNIT WHICH PROCESS THE INPUT FROM SENSOR .IT UNDERSTANDS THE DIGITAL SIGNAL.
8]MECHANICAL OR TOUCH SENSING:-IT IS A TOUCH SCREEN TYPE DEVICE.IT HAS TWO TYP  a.RESISTIVE, b.CAPACITIVE .NOWADAYS MOSTLY CAPACITIVE IS USED AS IT IS MORE SENSITIVE THAN RESISTIVE.IT CONSISTS OF A TWO LAYERS  SPACERS BETWEEN THEM.WHEN A LAYERS GET TOUCH EACH OTHER A CAPACITANCE IS GENERATED .IT CONSISTS OF A OPTIONS SUCH AS MEASUREMENT OF BLOOD,TEMPERATURE.
9]CAP.SENSE:-IT SENSES THE CAPACITANCE AND GIVES IT TO MCU.
10]LCD DRIVER:-IT CONNECTS  LCD DISPLAY  TO MCU.IT DISPLAYS THE MEASUREMENT.
11]PWM:-IT MEASURES THE WIDTH OF PULSES AND SPEAKER GIVES BEEP SOUND.
12]BLOOD DETECT:-IT DETECTS THE BLOOD GROUP,GULCOSE IN BLOOD AND GIVES IT TO MCU.
13]TEMP.SENSOR:-IT CAN BE A THERMISTER WHICH DETECTS THE TEMPERATURE OF BODY.
14]POWER MANAGEMENT:-IT MANAGES THE POWER.
15]USB:-IT CONNECTS THE METER TO COMPUTER.
